Another great night at Bernie's! On the strength of the story about the band in the Morris County Daily Record, we again got a great crowd of folks out to dance and listen. Thanks to all who came, and to the great folks at The Record, and to Jim Monaghan at 105.5 WDHA who read the article on the air Friday morning.
Right from the start we knew it was going to be a great and special night, and we included our grouping of George Harrison tunes to mark the 5th anniversary of his passing. It was a kick to see everybody light up and sing along to "Devil In Her Heart", one of George's early showcase tunes.
We met lots of old friends and made a lot of new ones. Many stayed till the very end, and even Bernie himself came out to dance to "Baby It's You" and "Twist and Shout."
