The Sky - Renderings
If you read this Culture Gig Story, you already know how fanatical
we all were (still are!) about The Who. Bob had a little time while monitoring
the phones at Delbarton's Old Main front desk, 'cause, using the phone
message slips, he came up with these cool renderings of the band
in full regalia, with very detailed representations of their gear. These
were almost certainly inspired by the performance of The Who that we all attended at Union Catholic High School in Scotch Plains, NJ. (That's right, we all saw The Who in a HS gym for something like $5.00. We saw Cream there later the same winter.) Dunno what happened to Pete.. I don't have that one.

Keith Moon dwarfed behind his massive drum kit. |
Finally, here's one of Myke's amazing drawings.
(He still does these...) It's his version of the ultimate Sky gear
set-up. Also obviously triggered by the same Union Catholic performance
by the Who, because the PA columns on either end are very similar to the massive
Sunn units we had just seen the band use. |
